Drema Darlene Mckinney

Drema Darlene McKinney, age 77, of Crawley, WV, passed away at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 following a sudden illness.

Born on September 19, 1947, in Allen Junction, WV, she was the daughter of the late Rev. David Hillary Eastridge and Ada Roe Eastridge.

Mrs. McKinney was a retired dietary manager, last working at the Raleigh Center in Daniels, WV.

She was an active member of Beckley Church of God, where she served as the pianist, and also played for the Praise and Worship Team. Mrs. McKinney was a very accomplished musician who was anointed by God. She took great pride in her gift of music, and all who heard her received a wonderful blessing.  Mrs. McKinney enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, going to the camp on the Greenbrier River and at Douglas Lake in Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Isaac McKinney Sr.; a granddaughter, Emma Reece McKinney, and by nine brothers and sisters.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Isaac McKinney Jr. of Smoot, WV, Angela Vass and husband Larry of Beckley, WV, Melissa Clark-Robinson and husband Allen of Crawley, WV, and Christopher McKinney and wife Misty of Beckley, WV. Grandchildren, Michael McKinney, Cody Collins, Andrew McKinney, Rachel Vass, Steven Clark, Alexis McKinney, Trey McKinney, Peyton McKinney, Luke Vass, Michael Vass, Jordan Robinson, Lance Robinson, Cierra Robinson, and Izaac Smith; two great grandchildren Riven Robinson and Reagan Robinson. A brother David Eastridge and wife Patty, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to Celebrate the Life of Drema McKinney will be held at the Beckley Church of God on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Bishop F.D. Sexton and Bishop Harold Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV, and also one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
