Drema Kay Thompson

Drema Kay Thompson, age 74, of Jumping Branch, WV went home  to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on February 20, 1951 in Shady Spring, she was the daughter of the late Ilow Meador and Norma Hart Meador.

Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a  devoted wife of 60 years to her husband,  Clancy Thompson.

She enjoyed spending time at their family  property near  Ellison Ridge.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Meador; an infant sister Linda Louise Meador; and a sister Patricia Ann Johnson.

Those survivors  left to cherish her  memory include her husband, Clancy Thompson. Two children, Clinton E. Thompson of Parkersburg, WV, and Kerrie L. Reynolds and husband Doug of Beckley, WV. Sisters, Jeanne Radford and husband Mike of Shady Spring, Brenda Matherly and husband Michael  of Chesapeake, VA, and Debbie Meador of Shady Spring; brothers, Danny Meador of Shady Spring, Gary Meador of Shady Spring, Darrell Meador of Daniels, Ronald Meador and wife Connie of Shady Spring, and David Meador of Grandview. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

According to Mrs. Thompson's personal wishes, no services will be held.
