Eddie Dean Mullins, 69 years young, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Born on April 9, 1956 in Cool Ridge, he was the son of the late George Mullins and Theda Ratliff Mullins.

Eddie was a carpenter, and also worked at coal filler plants in Bluefield and Tams. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing and playing the guitar. Eddie also enjoyed working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Roger, Wendell, and Elmer Mullins, Nora Ann Porter, Joyce Coath, Alene Lilly and Brenda Sue Mullins.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his sons, Dakota Mullins of Shady Spring, Austin Mullins and wife Sarah of Ghent, Anthony Mullins and wife Tracie of Summersville, and Eddie Mullins Jr. of Cool Ridge. A daughter Megan Tilley and husband Jordan of North Carolina. Grandchildren, Alex, Remi, Olivia, Adalynn, Aiden, Josh, Katie, Karlee, and Kaitlyn; a great grandson, Xavier; the love of his life Patty Mullins of Ghent; brothers David Mullins, Ronnie Mullins, and Harold Long; sisters Ila Mullins-Bennett and Helen Farley. best friends Hershell Milan, Eric Farley and David Taylor; furry best friend, Suzy-Q.

A graveside rite and burial will be held at the Shrewsbury Family Cemetery at Ghent, WV on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Larry Lilly officiating. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the services on Wednesday at the cemetery.

Family and friends will assist as pallbearers.
