Eden Michelle Holmes

Eden Michelle Holmes, beloved child of Corey and Alexia Holmes, was born on March 9, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio and passed away shortly after, peacefully in the loving arms of her mother. Though her time on earth was brief, Eden was deeply loved and will forever remain in the hearts of her family. Upon her entry into eternity, she was greeted by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her grandmother, Nicole Michelle Holmes.

Eden is survived by her grandparents, Travis Epling and Wendy Epling of Surveyor; Andrew Carpenter of Ohio.

Eden is also survived by a large and loving family, including her great-grandparents, Orval and Teresa Giles, Marilyn Ritter, Pauline Stump, Donald Epling, and Barbara Nutter; her aunts and uncles, Zachary and Sarah Epling, Kaleb and Mikayla Epling; and her cousins, Bryson Epling and Hallie Epling, along with many other distant aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eden is now in the loving care of her Creator, where there is no pain or sorrow—only perfect peace and eternal love. As Scripture reminds us, "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb… all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be" (Psalm 139:13–16). The family finds comfort in knowing that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, and that Eden's life—though brief—was fully known, deeply loved, and eternally held by God.

Funeral service will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 2:00PM. Close family friend, Craig Daniel will be officiating the service. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV.

Pallbearers will be her uncles Zachary Epling and Kaleb Epling.
