Edith Louise Martin

Edith Louise Martin, age 71, of Beckley, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born on September 25, 1952 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late James Delbridge and Eleanor Courtney Delbridge.

Edie, as she was known by her family and friends, worked in retail sales for several years.  She loved all animals, especially cats.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Karen Collins of Beckley,  and George Bailey of Hampton, Virginia. A brother, James Delbridge of Pennsylvania, and a sister Glennys Davis of Fayetteville, WV. Five grandchildren, a great grandchild and nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Edie's life will be held at a later date.
