Elizabeth Alice Allen

Elizabeth Alice Allen, age 83, of Daniels, WV passed away at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Born on March 30, 1943 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late James and Nannie Bennett Hunt.

"Liz" or "Ebbie" as she was known by family and friends, was a former waitress, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a long standing member of the Beckley Elks Club, having also worked at Billy Joes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Virginia Meador, Ida Crawford and Evelyn Chewning.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include daughters, Robin Woolwine of Oak Hill, Kim Allen of Crab Orchard, and Annette Allen of Beckley;  a brother Harold Ray Hunt and  wife Sandra of Biloxi, MS;  two sisters Donna Lilly of Flat Top, and Nancy May and husband Fred of Surf City, NC;  a granddaughter Morgan Lusk and husband Jordan of Mabscott; great grandchildren, Dayton Ballew and Mia Lusk.

An interment of her cremains will be held at the Crow Cemetery at Crow, WV on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
