Elizabeth Clarile Bland

Elizabeth Clarile Bland, age 65 of Beckley, WV left us too soon on Thursday, November 14, 2024 after a courageous battle with ALS. Elizabeth was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

"Beth" was the only  daughter of Connie and "Bill" Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Jenkins, and by brothers Billy Jenkins and John Jenkins.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Russell "Rusty" Bland; two sons Stephen and  Branden Bland, a daughter Ashley Bland, all of Beckley; mother Connie Jenkins of Stanaford;  brother Ardie Jenkins and wife Leigh Ann of Beckley; nephew  Cory Jenkins, two nieces Taylor Jenkins Wolfe and Logan Hunt Jenkins;  grandchildren Tristen Bland, Peyton Hundley, Chance Billings, Levi Bland, Airabeth  Meador and David Yancey; two great nieces and three great nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. ALS took her voice, but could not take her spirit.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Elizabeth C. Jenkins Bland on Monday November 18,2024 at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, located at 1901 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM, with services to begin at 12:00 PM.  Roger Smith will be officiating. Burial services will immediately follow at the Stanaford Cemetery, at Stanaford, WV.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
