Eloise Mabel Hardin of Daniels, WV passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 13, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Russell Linkous and Virgie Waddell.

Eloise was preceded in death by siblings, James Peters, Richard Peters, Thurman Peters, Wallace Peters, Clyde "Kenny" Waddell, David Linkous, Rogers Linkous, Lua May Peters and Barbara Waddell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Robert Prince of Daniels, WV and Michael Hardin and wife Mary of Advance, NC; siblings, Arnold Linkous and wife Sandra of Danese, WV and John D. Waddell of Tampa, FL. Grandchildren, Samantha Hardin Thompson and husband Jacob of Coolemee, NC and Lori Minor of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by two great grandkids, Timothy and Jameson Thompson that she was very proud of and loved very much. A bonus daughter, Heather Garris. Many nieces and nephews along with a host of friends and family from a lifetime of kindness and good nature. Her two best friends, Mabel Mizia and Brenda Fox and a host of other church family from Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church.

Momma was loved by everyone she ever met. She will truly be missed.

Funeral services for Eloise Hardin will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 7 PM at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family from 5 PM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
