Eva Fern Windsor, age 90, of Lanark, WV, formerly of Harper Heights, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born on January 24, 1936 in Bell, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Cox and Idella Nelson Cox.
Mrs. Windsor was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading and cooking when health permitted. She had made her home at Harper Heights for many years, before residing with her daughter Patricia Brumfield at Lanark.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Windsor was preceded in death by her husband, McRae Windsor; by sons Robert "Butch Windsor and James "Jimmy" Windsor; by brothers Charles B. Cox and Franklin R. Cox; by sisters Allie Johnson, Hazel Allen, Elsie Covey, Phyllis Holhouser, and Martha Cox.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Victoria " Vicki" MacDonald and husband Ron of Jacksonville, Florida, Charles Michael Windsor and wife Tammy of Beckley, and Patricia Brumfield and husband Jerry of Lanark; special daughter-in-law Patricia Lynn Harris of California; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews are also among her survivors.
Mrs. Windsor was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
According to Mrs. Windsor's personal wishes, no services will be held.
