Franklin Bonaventura Bosia

Franklin Bonaventura Bosia, age 90, a lifelong resident of Beckley, WV, passed away on March 17, 2024 in Hollywood, Florida, where he was currently residing.

Born on April 28, 1933 in Kanawha Falls, WV, he was the son of the late William and Angelina Porta Bosia.

Mr. Bosia was a Medical Technologist at  Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Bosia and his former wife and mother of his children, Inge Wehling Bosia.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Angela Hart (Steven) of Cool Ridge, WV, Karen Bosia from Hollywood, Fl., Frank Bosia (Julie) Sandiego, CA,  Alan Bosia (Kathryn) of Morgantown, WV;  four grandsons, Frank, Ryan, Ethan, and Caleb Bosia ; a granddaughter, Amber Sparn, and two great grandchildren, Lillie and Scarlette also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and a memorial service will be held on June 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, 729 Flat Top Road Shady Spring, WV with family members officiating.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
