Franklin Delano Fraley, Jr.

On May 23rd, 2024, Franklin Delano Fraley Jr. of Slab Fork, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord. He was 56 years old and had been in good health. His death was unexpected.

Frank was born on July 5, 1966 in Cuyahoga County Ohio to Franklin "Bud" Fraley and Mary Fraley (Riley). He grew up in Bolt, West Virginia. He worked moving mobile homes (JF Movers) with his dear brother James for the last 30+ years.

Frank was a an exceptional man, and will be  dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

He was a devoted and loving husband and best friend to his wife Sandy of 34 years. He was an extraordinary father and best friend to his two sons, Frankie (Ashley) and Jeff (Brittany). He was precious to his five siblings and their spouses, Carol Dheel (David), Angel Tudor (Joel),  Candy Tilley (Timmy), James Fraley (Trish), Jeff Fraley (Luzell), and a whole host of wonderful nieces and nephews. Frank is also survived by his five grand babies, Audrey, Reghan, Lincoln, Leeland, Everlei, and two bonus grand-babies, Axxel and Amari, who meant the world to him. He so patiently taught them things and kept them laughing. He spent as much time as he could with them.

To know Frank was to love him. He was the exemplification of a Godly man. He was loyal. He worked hard to provide for his family and had the biggest heart. He was strong, yet tender hearted. He gave freely, whether it be his time, work, or resources to anyone in need. He spent his life being a light for the Lord and often said he couldn't wait  for the day he'd see his Lord and Savior face to face. He radiated the love of the Christ so well it almost seemed effortless. He was an avid lover of Tudors Biscuit World and mowing the lawn. He was a jack of all trades who could cook, fix, or build anything.

There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Frank is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord. Though we will miss him for the rest of our lives, we were blessed to have known someone so incredibly special that it hurts so badly to lose.
