Fred "Boosie" Puckett

Fred "Boosie" Puckett, age 73, of Coal City, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Born on October 11, 1951, he was  the son of the late Thomas and Betty Smith Puckett.

Boosie was a member of Grace and Truth Ministries and Mabscott Holiness Church. He enjoyed going  to McDonald's with his  group of friends, and loved attending church. Boosie also loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Tommy, Robert, Jake, and John Puckett.

Those survivors left to cherish his  memory include his sister, Judy Lea Chafin and husband Stanley of Coal City; special family members including Tara Lough and husband Dustin of Coal City, Amber and Dewayne Diehl of Lanark, Stephanie Puckett of Beckley, Lisa Puckett of Coal City, Tommy Puckett III of Sophia, Toni Puckett of Coal City, Kacie Brierley and husband Noah of Prosperity, Logan Lester of Tazewell, VA, Jayden Myers of Tazewell, VA, Benton Diehl of Beckley, Jaxon Brierley of Prosperity, and Elliotte Jean Lester of Tazewell, VA. He leaves behind all of his friends at McDonald's at Sophia, and also his very special pet, Abby.

A committal service  will be held at Blue  Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity, WV on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bill Spencer and Minister Dewayne Diehl  officiating. There will  be no visitation.
