Gavin Stover

Gavin Matthew Stover, born Sept 2, 2007, of Irish Mountain, passed away unexpectedly on Feb 2,2025 in Sophia, WV. Gavin was the son of Tiffany Stover and (Nick) of Irish Mountain and Zack Stover of Morgantown.

Gavin's smile was large and silly and would light up any room he entered. His big heart and kindness to help anyone in need was infectious. He was a loyal friend to so many. Gavin was a selfless human and would do anything for anyone. He spent time helping out with his mother and papaw, which he loved dearly.

Gavin was an avid gamer and had become a master chef in the kitchen. He enjoyed spending time with his cousins and his buddies riding four wheelers and bikes.

Those left behind to carry on his memory other than his parents include his beloved brother, Payton Stover of Irish Mountain; grandparents, Charles and Vicki Kincaid of Irish Mountain and Steve and Evangeline Stover of White Oak. He was also a beloved nephew, cousin and friend to many.

A service to celebrate the life of Gavin Stover will be held at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Shady Spring Chapel on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 6:00 PM with Kenneth Meadows officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
