Geneva Radford Scarbro, age 92, of Shady Spring, WV went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

She was born June 27, 1932 in Colcord, WV,  to the late Otey Dillon and Ina Bailey Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father to her children, Charles "Frank" Radford, and her second husband Kermit Quentin Scarbro; five brothers Donald, Darwin "Dugan", Gene, Doyle and Lowell  Dillon; a sister Nadine Brotherton.

Geneva is survived by her children, Gregory Radford and wife Paula of Hemlock, NY, Randy Radford and wife Sheila, and Tommy Radford and wife Angela, all  of White Sulphur  Springs, WV, Sue Shrewsbury and husband Dave of Beckley, WV, and Karen Keller and husband Joe of Shady Spring, WV. Grandchildren, Amy and Kim Radford, Carrie Altice, Jeremy Radford, Autumn Radford, Jennifer Williams, Kelli Williams, Joseph Keller, Stephanie Plumley and  Tyler Bonds; several great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Two brothers, Delano Dillon and wife Connie of Suwanee, GA, and Larry Dillon and wife Gloria of Johnstown, OH.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family extends special thanks to Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, and asks that in lieu of  flowers, to please consider making a donation to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV. 25801 in memory of Mrs. Geneva Radford Scarbro.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11 AM with  her nephew Pastor Tim Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Lee Bennett, Michael Dillon, Joseph Keller, Tyler Bonds, Joe Keller and Dave Shrewsbury.
