George David Nagye

George David Nagye, 71 of Bradley, WV passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

David, as we all knew him, was born on November 1, 1954, in Beckley, WV. He was the son of the late Elmer Lee Nagye, Sr. and Mary Lee Nagye. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann; his brother Elmer Nagye, Jr. and wife Jeanne, sister LaDonna Epling and husband Randall, brother Rodney Nagye, sister Jean Ann Owen and Husband Gary, and brother Mark Nagye his wife Donna, and his beloved rescue cats.

He is further survived by his nephews and nieces: Jeb Nagye, Sarah Halstead, Larry Nagye, Nicole Cooper, Natalie Parra, Cleo Nagye, Justine Staton, Timmy Staton, Jennifer Epling, and Kimberly Epling, and Michael Nagye, who he thought of as a son.

David loved the Lord with all his heart and was blessed to serve as a Deacon at Mount Hope Christian Church.

David had a curious mind and could fix anything. This led him to a life of work as a building contractor, owner of an automotive computer technology business, service in EMS, and finally back to his original love of building.

As a proponent of lifelong learning, he returned to school graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Charleston at the age of 43 with a degree in Biology.

Throughout his illness, his greatest desire was to return to his beloved church.

Visitation will be held at Mount Hope Christian Church from 10 – 11 am, Saturday, March 28, 2026. A Memorial service will be held at 11 am at the church with Roy Seaux officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
