Greg Murphy Lilly

Greg Murphy Lilly, age 50, of Pluto Road, Shady Spring, WV was born on October 1, 1974, and passed away March 28, 2025.

Greg was preceded in death by his biological father, Woodrow C. Lilly; a sister Rose Lilly Duncan; brother Dwayne Meadows; maternal grandmother Janet Harvey of Ghent; paternal grandparents Ernest and Marie Lilly of Flat Top.

Greg leaves behind his parents, Randy and Onita Meadows; his boys, Gregory and fiancé Katelyn; Daniel and fiancé Haylee; his daughter Skyler Bailey; his stepdaughter Breanna Meadows and her two sons; and his first biological grandchild soon to be born in November 2025.

Also surviving are his grandparents, Eugene C. and Samantha Harvey of Ghent, and Grace Meadows of Shady Spring; sisters Cassie (Jon Kyle) Farmer, of Pluto Road, Shady Spring, and Patricia (Troy) Harvey, of Daniels. He also leaves behind two special friends Mike Arthur and Paul Allen, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Derick Lester officiating. Burial will follow at the Meadows-Lilly Cemetery on Pluto Road, Shady Spring, WV (behind the home of Randy Meadows). Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
