Gregory Winton Stovall, age 68, of Beckley, WV passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
Born on December 2, 1955 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Jack Stovall and Janet Jones Stovall.
Mr. Stovall was a former manager of Carpet World in Beckley, and was a member of the Beckley Regular Baptist Church.
He was an avid sports fan of the West Virginia University Mountaineers and the New York Yankees. Mr. Stovall enjoyed taking care of his lawn, and loved all animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jackie Stovall; infant sister Tammy Stovall, and a niece April Stovall.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 20 years, Jan Harvey Stovall; children Elizabeth Prajapati and husband Raj of Beckley, Jamie Hamilton and husband Steven of Beaver, Robert Mark Easley and wife April of Wimauma, Florida, Nicholas Easley and wife Trish of Beaver, and Ryan Easley and significant other Kerry of Cool Ridge; a brother Jeff Stovall of North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren,Trinity Lilly and husband Logan, Abigail Hamilton, Stevie Hamilton, Brystal Hamilton, Michael Dickelson, Jaslyn Easley, Ariya Easley, Ava Easley, A.J. Easley, Cullen LaLima, Asher Easley, Nathan Easley, and Everley Easley; and two great granddaughters, Elliana Lilly, and Opal Lilly. He also leaves behind his special pets Baxter and his cat Mickey.
A memorial service will be held to Celebrate the Life of Gregory Stovall on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 3 PM at the Beckley Regular Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Smith officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the church.
