Harold Lee Curtis

Harold Lee Curtis, age 79, of Shady Spring, WV passed away at his home on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Born on August 2, 1945, at Ghent, WV, he was the son of the late Homer Ray Curtis and Verna Ellath Kincaid Curtis.

Mr. Curtis was a retired carpenter, and a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam Conflict.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing when health allowed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Curtis was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ray Curtis and Joseph K. Curtis.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include nieces and nephews: Shawnee Curtis Lewis and companion Paul Lilly of Shady Spring, WV, Scyanna Brooks of Ghent, Brian Gill and wife Pam of Ghent, Kathy Cales and companion Mike Ward of Nimitz, Jennifer Tilley of Ghent, and Lewis Curtis and companion Selena Vaught of Cool Ridge.

Many great nieces and nephews, including Journey and Nathaniel Lewis of Shady Spring.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ronald Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
