Harold D. Lilly

Harold  D. Lilly, age 82, of Flat Top, WV passed away at  home on Saturday, April 27, 2024 following a long illness.

Born on October 27, 1941 at Flat Top, he was the son of the late Basil and Gladys Lilly of Flat Top.

In  addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Cynthia  Lilly, grandson Matthew McMichael, three sisters Deloris Furrow, Linda Lilly and Carolyn "Jeanie" Lilly,  an infant brother, a niece Pamel Bennett, and two brothers-in-law John Goldie and Warren Furrow.

Harold was a US Army Veteran and retired from Banner Glass in Maryland in 2000.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Donna  Lilly of Flat Top; daughter Melinda Wallace (David) of  Maryland; son  Dale Lilly (Stephanie) of Maryland;  sisters, Joyce Goldie, Marilee Bennett (Perry), Sandra Hunt (Harold), and Cathy Whitehead (Eugene). A brother Robert Lilly (Peggy); nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1 PM with Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at the Epling Cemetery at Camp Creek, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
