Hattie Arlene Dickens Craddock, age 92, of Pemberton, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV.

Born on August 15, 1931 in Montcalm, she was the daughter of the late Thurmond Dickens and Zella Webb Dickens.

Mrs. Craddock was a homemaker, and a member of Prosperity Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and cooking when health allowed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Craddock; a daughter Janice Craddock, and a granddaughter Stacy Plumley, two great grandchild Kyla Renee Jones and Nora Schaffer.

Those survivors  left to cherish her memory include her children: Juanita Deeds of Beckley, Henry Wayne Craddock and wife Barbara Jane of Sun City, FL,  William Garred Craddock and wife Barbara Jean of Arnett, Joseph  Lee Craddock Jr. of Rainelle, Douglas James Craddock of Pemberton, and Rebecca Lynn Brooks and husband Ben of Hendersonville, TN. Siblings,  Dorothy, Pauline, Joyce, Bobby, and Mike.

Nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces  and nephews  also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Keith Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
