James Allen Bell

James Allen Bell, age 59, of Coal City, WV passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at  Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born on October 17, 1964 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Clyde and Eva Bell.

Jimmy, as he was known by family and friends, was a coal sampler for Gallaher Coal Company, and was a member of Glen White Church of God.

Jimmy loved 4-wheeling and spending time  with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryson Sprouse.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife Cheryl Hansford Bell; daughters Ashton Sprouse and husband Charlie  of Coal  City, and Kristi Hutchins of Beckley; four grandchildren; a brother Brian Bell of Coal City; a  sister  Cindy Kipps and husband Chuck of Coal City; two aunts Jackilen  Cooper and Pauline  Phillips and husband Ralph; an uncle Daniel Bell and wife  Julia. Many cousins that loved him  dearly also survive.

Graveside rites and burial will be held at the Hot Coal Cemetery at Sophia, WV on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 3 PM with Rev. Kenny Shrewsberry officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2 PM until 3 PM on Sunday at the cemetery.
