James Steven Bradford, age 76, of Beckley, WV passed away at his home on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Born on October 23, 1949 at Bald Knob, WV, he was the son of the late Donald Bradford and Eileen D. Peters Bradford.

Mr. Bradford was a retired coal miner, and was a United States Army Veteran.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the beach.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bradford was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Bradford in 2021.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his companion and caregiver Diana Milam of Beckley; his children, James Stephen Bradford II of Clarksburg, Ambra E. Price of Madison, and Jordan Bradford of Huntington; four grandchildren; step children, Basil Meadows of Fairdale, Edward Meadows of Beckley, Kimberly Franklin of Beckley, Sharon Price of Mount Hope, James Milam of Beckley, and Summer Thomas of Beckley. A brother, Timothy Bradford of Charleston. Several step grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, WV.

There will be no visitation.
