James Hershel Goddard, Ii

James Hershel Goddard II, age 54, of Daniels, WV passed away at his home on January 4, 2024.

Born on December 10, 1969 in Beckley, he was the son of the late James Hershel Goddard and Drema Lee Vaught Goddard.

Hershel Jr., as he was known by family and friends was a certified electrician, and was employed at 2 Brothers Collison in Beckley.  He loved antique cars, motorcycles, and also loved cats.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his children, James Hershel Goddard III of Thomasville, NC, Jessica Goddard of Beckley, and Levi Goddard Brooks of Shady Spring. Two sisters, Debra Farley and husband Charles of Cool Ridge, and Belinda Warren  and husband Justin of Pipestem. Five grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 22, 2024 at noon at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Shady Spring, WV with Mr. Marvin Meadows officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Comital services will be conducted by Mr. Charles Farley at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV with burial to follow.
