James Mackie Goode

We are very saddened to announce the passing of James Mackie Goode from Alpoca, WV.

He was  loved by his partner of 15+ years Karen McKinney and her son Brandon McKinney. He is survived by his son Joshua Goode Sr. and wife Wanda Goode of Shady Spring WV, daughter Jennifer Adams, sister Betty Jenkins and husband Buz of Bud, WV, brother Tommy Goode of Florida. Grandkids, Dylan Harvey of Shady Spring, WV, Bethany Harvey of Beckley, WV, Zachary Bailey of Crab Orchard WV, Joshua Goode Jr., of Shady Spring, WV, Nichole Henson of Shady Spring, WV, Dakota & Patrick, Tiffany Brown and husband Mikey of Beckley, WV, Charles Cadle of Shady Spring, WV, Selena Cadle of Shady Spring, WV, and Kelli Smith of Jumping Branch, WV. Great grandkids Paisley Xavier & Brinleigh Kerr of Beckley, WV, Mikey, Roy, Lilac, Elijah and Lorraine Brown of Beckley, WV.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lullabelle Thomas Goode, daughter, Christal Goode Cadle , brothers William Goode, Robert William Goode and a sister Helen Greene.

James also had nieces nephews and cousins that he loved dearly. James loved his son Joshua Goode fearlessly and he will be missed by so many. Mackie as everyone called him was a great brother friend cousin and son.

We will always cherish the memories we have with him. Burial will be at Bud Mountain at the Goode Cemetery.

No services will be held.
