James Aaron Griffith

James Aaron Griffith, age 32, of Dunns, WV passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Born on August 18, 1991 in Beckley, he was the son of Aaron Scott Griffith and wife Jennifer of Santee, SC, and Melissa Kaye Lilly Griffith of Shady Spring.

James, as he was known by family and friends was a former employee of Pipestem State Park in the grounds keeping department. He attended Mountain Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Dunns, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his dirt bike.

Other than his parents, those survivors left to cherish his memory include two children, Brayden Bryce and Daisy Michelle; grandparents, Yvonnia and David Griffith of Dunns, and Homer and Linda Lilly of Shady Spring; an aunt Jody Lilly of Shady Spring; two uncles John Lilly of Beckley, and Matthew Griffith of Beckley.  Several cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the  Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1 PM with Pastor Wayne Bolen officiating. Burial will follow at the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
