James Eric Lilly Jr.

Jams Eric Lilly Jr. age 53, of Sophia, WV, formerly of Odd, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on January 10, 1971 in Medina, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Eric Lilly Sr. and Mary Bailey Lilly.

James was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed walking, spending time with nieces and nephews, and helping around the house. He  was an avid fan of West Virginia University Football and Basketball.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include a sister, Viola Lilly of Ohio; his extended family and caregivers, Patricia McCoy and husband Lloyd of Midway; C.J. Shinault of Sophia, and special friends, Barbara Munoz and husband Sam, and Patricia Stone, and all of her children; half sisters, Sandy and Mary also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Keith Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
