James Lee Newman, Ii

James Lee Newman II, of Beckley, WV passed away at the age of 47 at his home on February 5, 2026.

Born on October 9, 1978 in Beckley, he was the son of Alice Daniel Brown and the late James L. Newman.

Jamie, as he was known by family and friends, enjoyed drawing, cooking, and most of all loved taking care of his pets.  He also loved making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Newman.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his mother, Alice Daniel Brown of Cleveland, TN; sister Angela Newman Green and husband Mike of Jumping Branch, WV; a brother, Zachary Daniel Brown of Lancaster, PA; a sister Kellie M. Guard and husband Austin of Cleveland, TN. Two nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and aunts and uncles also survive.

A private service and memorial will be held at a later date.
