Jane A. O'Neal

Jane A. O'Neal, age 85, of Beckley, WV passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born on May 16, 1940 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Earl Shawver and Julia Ross Shawver.

Jane was a retired Ward Clerk at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley with 42 years of service. She was a member of Sprague Freewill Baptist Church, and was a former member of the Order Of The Eastern Star. Jane enjoyed sewing, making quilts, and baking homemade bread.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Jackie Lee O'Neal, Julia Ann Troxler, and Phyllis O'Neal; two brothers, James Shawver and Sonny Shawver; sisters Mary Clemons and Nellie Thurman. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Jack O'Neal.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Greg O'Neal and wife Melissa of Spotsylvania, VA,  Jeffrey O'Neal of Prosperity, Teressa O'Neal of NC, Elizabeth Loudermilk of Prosperity, Melissa Brown and husband Steve of Youngsville, NC. Fifteen  grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survive. A sister, Diana Way and husband Jerry of SC.

A private graveside rite will be held at a later date.
