Janet Miller

Janet Sue Miller, 79, of Oak Hill, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Janet was born in Beckley, WV on April 27, 1942 to the late Lacy Adkins and Gladys Martin Adkins.

Janet loved to cook, taking care of people through home healthcare, yard sales, serving her Lord, and spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Cecil Miller; sisters, Wanda Marcum and Norma Lewis; and her grandchildren, JJ Forren and Erica Lambert.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Teresa Hughes and companion, Melvin, Cecil Miller Jr, Wayne Miller and his companion, Jenny, Deborah Maynor and her husband, Charles, Tammy Miller, and Richard Miller; sister, Mavis McQuillen, and Shelia Hurst; and a brother, Lacy Adkins Jr and his wife, Carol; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1 PM with Pastor Buzz Keller officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
