Jesse Pete Webb

It is with great sadness that the family of Jesse Pete Webb announce his passing on June 24, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV with his family by his side.

Jesse Pete Webb, age 62, of Prosperity, WV was born on February 20, 1962 in Beckley, WV.  He was the son of the late Pete Webb, Jr. and Iris Irene (Raines) Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Eddie Burns.

Jesse Pete also known as "Pistol Pete'' worked as a coal truck driver and in construction for many years. He was the one you called when you needed something fixed or just to lend a listening ear. He was a UK Wildcat sports fan, loved Nascar races, tinkering with vehicles, and showing off his grilling skills. He had many interests, but by far his favorite pastime was spending time with his boys and spoiling his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Jessica (Jonathan) Mullins of Kentucky, Pete (Whitley) Webb of Kentucky, Jay (Karissa) Webb of West Virginia, Jacoby Webb of West Virginia, and Vivian Webb of West Virginia; grandchildren, Sophia and Amelia Webb, Kendall and Riley Mullins, Dalton and Kyran Webb; two sisters, Diana Burns of Florida and Dreama (Donnie) Pugh of Virginia and many nieces and nephews also survive.

To honor his incredible legacy, a memorial service will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry  Funeral Chapel in Shady Spring on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 7:00 pm with visitation beginning at 5:00 pm.

In accordance with his wishes, Jesse Pete will be cremated.
