Joyce Nadine Jones

Joyce Nadine Jones, age 85, of Beckley, WV passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Born on June 10, 1940 in Beaver, WV, she was the daughter of the late Marion Stump and Dorothy Wood Stump.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker, and a member of Calloway Heights Baptist Church in Beckley. She enjoyed cooking and talking with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Buford and Doug Stump; sisters, Elizabeth Ward, Sharon Cadle and Shirley Richmond.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 67 years, Howard Jones; four children, David Jones of Beckley, Howard Jones of Cumming, GA, Tammy Lynch of ShadySpring, and Pamela Mitchem and husband Carlos of Dahlonega, Ga; two brothers, Donald Stump and wife Faye of Cool Ridge, and Jeff Stump and wife April of Logan; six grandchildren, Scott Lynch and wife Tiffany of Beckley, Cassandrah Wilder and husband Jon of Palm Coast, FL, Nichole Mason and husband Wesley of Beckley, Ashlee Lynch of Huntington, Adam Mitchem and wife Jackie of Dawsonville, GA and Brandon Mitchem and wife Hunter of Dahlonega, GA; 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kim Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount View Cemetery at Cool Ridge, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
