Kathryn Ann Bell

Kathryn Ann Bell, age 93, of Crab Orchard, WV  passed away at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Born on August 3, 1931 in Barn, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ellison and Lora Lee Fink Ellison.

Mrs. Bell  worked as a seamstress at Seams Easy in Daniels for several years, and was a member Daniels Bible Church. She loved sewing and reading in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bell, a daughter, Lisa Christian and a granddaughter Martha Rose. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Ellison, Jackie McCoy, June Cornett, and Janet Coyne. Mrs. Bell was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her children; Barbara Hager and husband Charley of Clover, South Carolina, Dreama Shannon and husband, Willie of Sophia, WV,  Michael Bell and wife,  Lisa of Crab Orchard, WV  and Brenda Heath and husband,  Doug of Cool Ridge, WV. Grandchildren: Lora Lee Fitzwater,  Michael Bell, JoAnn Lanier, Lee  Ann Sharp, Lisa Marie Keith, Justin Ford, Hannah Johnson, Meridith Chambers, and Charlie Hager; great grandchildren, Ryan Houston, William Lee, Christopher, James, Elizabeth, Levi, Josiah, Lily, Ava, Wesley, Abigail, Kathryn, Cailyn, Caleb, Madison, Poppy and Callum, and numerous great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Carl Dingus officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Family members will serve as pallbearers.
