Katy Aisleen Benfield

Katy Aisleen Benfield, age 39, of Cool Ridge, WV passed away on April 24, 2025.

Born on December 4, 1985 in Baytown, Texas, she was the daughter of Patricia Cheselka of Beckley and Stephen Craig of Indiana.

Katy was employed by Fed Ex as a delivery person. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and 4-wheeling. She loved flower gardening and taking care of her pets.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by children, Rowan Benfield and Robert Mason Benfield, both of Crab Orchard; a brother, David Lee Cheselka of Crab Orchard; an aunt, Cindy Meadows of Pluto, and an uncle, David Cheselka of Clearwater, FL.  She was loved by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Service with balloon release will be held for family and friends at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025 at New River Park in Beckley, WV.
