With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kenneth Andrew (Drew) Scott, who died on August 6, 2026 at the age of 47. 

Drew was born June 15, 1979 in Beckley, WV. He was a graduate of Shady Spring High School and WVU School of Engineering. Drew was a member of Grandview Christian Church. While living in California he was employed at Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Wines in Lodi, CA. After moving to Minneapolis, MN he was employed at Hawkins, Inc. where he was Project Manager.

Drew had a way of making the world around him brighter. He radiated kindness, love, and an unmistakable energy for life. He was truly a friend to everyone, because Drew genuinely cared about people. If someone needed help, he was there and always generous with his time, his energy, and his heart.

Drew had a remarkable gift for bringing people together. He was the one who made things happen – organizing the fun, creating reasons to gather, and making sure everyone felt welcome and included. Whether it was family, friends, neighbors or kids, Drew turned ordinary moments into lasting memories. He understood that some of the best parts of life are simply being together, and he gave the people around him countless moments they will carry with them forever.

Above all else, Drew loved his children. They were the center of his world and his greatest joy. The love he had for them was boundless, and nothing mattered more to him than being their dad.

Drew leaves behind an extraordinary number of people who loved him. Those left behind include his children Emily, Nora and Charlie and their mother Toni. Other survivors include his parents Kenneth M. Scott and Jo DeLancey Scott, sister Andrea Lester and husband J.D., brother Christopher Scott and Joni Surgeon, niece Madison McNiff and husband Jack, and nephew Isaac Lester. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm for life touched more people than he could ever have known. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and joy he gave so freely.

Memorial service and celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 in Minneapolis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11:30 to time of service at Grandview Christian Church.

Following the service family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life in the Family Life Center at Grandview Christian Church to share stories, remember Drew and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you honor Drew by carrying forward the kindness and generosity he showed so freely: bring people together, help someone who needs it, create some fun, and make a memory with the people you love.
