Kenneth "Bucky" Lee Dickens

Kenneth Lee Dickens, age 59, of Glen Daniel, WV passed away at Raleigh General Hospital  in Beckley on Sunday, May 11, 2025 following a sudden illness.

Born on November 7, 1965 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Kenneth Dickens and Bessie Massey Dickens.

"Bucky", as he was known by family and friends, was a former coal miner, and  had served in the US Army and the Army National Guard. He loved raising his chickens, and was an avid outdoorsman.  Bucky also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, Bucky was preceded in death by siblings, Ricky and Icey Jane Dickens.

Those survivors left to cherish his  memory include his wife of 22 years, Sharon Bailey Dickens;  daughters, Tisha Dickens of Dameron, and Jackie Treadway and husband Matthew of Oak Hill; four grandchildren, Nevaeh Tolley, Delta Martin, Aiden Treadway, and Jaylah Treadway; a sister Tammy Dameron and husband Frank of Beckley.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
