Kimberly Marie Blankenship, age 53, of Beckley, West Virginia was born in Cleveland, Ohio and rested her beautiful soul peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Kimberly was so full of life that even though she is gone, her essence will always live through her kids and grandbabies. Her biggest and proudest accomplishment was her daughters; if she could have told the whole world about them, she would have. She was someone you could vent your heart out to, and she would hide her pain to ease yours, a true mom. She always loved the beach, the way the waves hit the shore like they had somewhere to be, and the way the sand wrapped around her feet like a warm hug.
Her world revolved around being a grandmother; La'Riyah and Kade were her heart. Bentley, her fur baby, was her soul dog, and she loved him so very much - the eggs with cheese she made every morning and the cuddles on the couch he'll never forget. She was a motherly figure to anyone who came along and loved every kid who came through her door like they were her own.
Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted loving partner and best friend William Ray of Beckley, her children Lindsey Redden of Maple Fork, McKenzie Mitchell of Beckley, Alexis Fitzwater of Beckley, Tre Ray of Beckley and her bonus daughters Twania, Jaqueline. Along with her grandbabies that she loved very much La'Riyah Guerrant and Kade Bennett.
Kimberly is also survived by her, father Mike and Nelda Blankenship of Prosperity, mother Beth and Danny Surratt of Eccles, her siblings, Robin and Chris Olson, Chris and Kate Blankenship, Dave and Liz Blankenship, Travis Surratt, Brenda and Jeff Bowles, Diana Boyko, Richard Boyko, Jerry and Robin. Her nieces and nephews Tyler, Kayla, Jillian, Jessica, Lauren, Alex, Zack, Ollie, Allie and Jeffery.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
