Lewis Hartford Radford, age 75, of Shady Spring, WV passed away at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV on Monday, August 31, 2026.

Born on April 21, 1951 in Shady Spring, he was the son of the late Paul H. Radford and Anna Mae Flannery Radford.

Mr. Radford enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Sharon Meador and Anna Marie Worix; a brother Paul Dennis Radford.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Garland Plumley of Shady Spring, Linda Altizer of Hamilton, Ohio, Michael Radford and wife Jeanne of Shady Spring, John Radford and wife Patty of Beckley, Evangeline Stover and husband Steve of White Oak, Elizabeth Mitchell of Shady Spring, and Paul Radford and wife Patti of Shady Spring. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Shady Spring Chapel on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Jordan Legg officiating. Burial will follow at the Garten Cemetery at Bragg, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Michael Radford, John Radford, Paul Radford, Joshua Radford, Michael James Radford and Lee Bennett.
