Lillian June Barr's Obituary

Lillian June Barr, age 86, of Sophia, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Born on August 2, 1940 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Gloria Richardson Griffith.
Mrs. Barr was a homemaker, and a charter member of Bible Baptist Church at MacArthur, WV, where she attended regularly until her health declined.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Barr; by a brother Larry Richardson and several in-laws.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Debbie Barr of Sophia, and Susie Barr of Midway; a granddaughter Katelynn Whitt and her fiancé B.J. Tingler; a great grandson Parker Tingler, all of Crab Orchard; a brother-in-law, Roy Johnson of Sophia, and a sister-in-law Connie Cadle of Charleston. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 12:00 PM, with Mr. Johnny McGhee officiating. Burial will follow at the family plot at Wildwood Cemetery in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family from 11 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
