Linda Faye Allen, age 71, of Flat Top, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Born in Mullens, WV on April 17, 1954, Linda was the daughter of the late Charlie Edward Bells and Wilma Faye Shrewsberry Bells.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son Brad Allen; her sister Ann Hornsby; and her father in law Pastor Cleve Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, David Allen; her son Shannon Allen and wife Brenda of Beaver; her daughter in law Crystal Allen of Shady Spring; 4 beautiful grand daughters who were her angels, Maranda, Sydney, Haley & Hannah; and a precious great grandson Emory.

Linda was well known for the beautiful flowers that surrounded her home, which she lovingly tended to with great pride. She found joy in sharing bouquets with friends, family, and neighbors. Blessed with a caring and compassionate heart Linda spent many years helping care for several elderly individuals in the community. Through her kindness and selfless spirit she also formed a special and cherished friendship with her dear friend, Eloise.

Linda especially loved the Christmas season. She found great joy in decorating her home with Christmas decorations and making the holidays special for her family. Some of her most treasured moments were spent baking in the kitchen with her grand daughters, creating sweet treats and memories that will be cherished forever.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley, WV to Celebrate The Life of Linda Allen on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 1:00pm, with Pastor Frank McQuillen officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00am until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. According to personal wishes, cremation will follow.
