Obituary

I Linda Sue, was given by God to my parents, Roy and Geneva Farley in Coal City West Virginia on March 15, 1948.

He gave me life until he decided my work was done and my journey on earth was over. God called me home on July 3, 2026.

My husband Paul Keffer, my parents Roy and Geneva Farley, an older infant brother Donal David, brothers Douglas Wayne, Damon Edward Farley, sister-in-law Rita Farley, my maternal grandparents Ervin "Skinny" and Mary Callie Hungate, my paternal grandparents William and Eliza Farley, preceded me in death.

Those left to remember me are my daughter, Paula, and her husband Kevin Roark of Meade WV. A great and helpful son Roy of Coal City WV. Three wonderful grandsons, whom I loved, and cherished, Rodney Roark, Dwayne and Adien Keffer.

My loving and caring sisters, their spouses, nieces and nephews that was always there for me. Athlene Long of Oak Hill WV, Irma Farley of Rocky Mount, VA, Barbara Hilton of Elliston, VA., Lois and Gene Defibaugh of Salem, Va. Sister in Law Linda Farley of Coal City, WV. My two nephews, Alan Long and Jared Perdue. Eight nieces Tresia Mason, Tina Pittman, Annette McGuire, Tawnia Long, Catrina Medlin, Lorrie Harshbarger, Christina Linkenhoker and Heather Scott.

My funeral was held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 1 PM at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley.  Services continued at Sunset Mausoleum with a short message by Rev Tim Akers and a good-bye prayer by David Linkenhoker. Burial followed at the Crestview section of Sunset Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were my family and friends.

To my family and friends, in lieu of flowers take your family to dinner and spend some quality time with them. For life is too short to spend time mourning. Rejoice and be happy for me!

Jesus died for me and built me a bridge to go to heaven. The master's plan for me is finished and I have gone to my heavenly mansion he built for me. He sent the heavenly angels to travel with me as I across that bridge

I left all the suffering, pain, sorrow and the tears out side of those the gates. I put on a new body like Jesus and met all my family, friends and all the heavenly host and hostess that went on before me. I know them all, for there are no strangers in heaven. We celebrated my arrival with singing and shouting! Oh! What a wonderful and beautiful day it was. I am happy and safe for God has supplied my every need.

So good-bye until later when I can see you again my family, my friends. I loved you more than you ever knew. God bless all of you with happiness until we meet again!

Love,

Sue
