Linda Rose

Linda Richmond Richardson Rose, age 78, of Rainelle, WV, formerly of Nallen, WV passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 28, 1947 at Pluto, WV, she was the daughter of the late Basil Richmond and Catherine Russell Richmond.

Mrs. Rose was a retired CNA, last  working at Heartland of Rainelle, WV. She was a member Big Sewell Baptist Church, and enjoyed taking care the elderly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her first husband Earl Richardson; a daughter Linda Richmond; by siblings, Sarah Richmond, Lowell Russell, Jerry Richmond, Mannie Richmond, Omer Richmond, and Janice Meadows.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband, Wade Rose; three children, Kenneth Richardson and wife Oma of Alderson, Randall Richardson and wife Andrea of Kansas, and Alice Gritta and husband Mark of Nallen; siblings, Georgia Southern of Great Falls, Montana, Ivan Richmond and wife Darlene of Copley, OH, Rex Richmond and wife Barbara of Freezeland Mountain, Doug Richmond of Bragg, and Rebecca Richmond of Bean Station, TN. Nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Amos E. Quesenberry Peace Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley, WV on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Alexander and Sarah Richmond Family Cemetery at Freezeland Mountain, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral Home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
