Lisa Ann Lane

Lisa Ann Lane, age 61, of Shady Spring, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2024,  surrounded by her loved ones at Bowers Hospice House.

She was born February 19, 1963 in Tecumseh, Michigan, to Lorene and the late Hafford "Bud" Young of Shady Spring.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son Damion Lane and wife Brittany of Shady Spring; her daughter Darrien Lane and fiancé Carrie Bland of Shady Spring; two granddaughters whom she cherished above all else, Riley Phillips and Leigha Lane of Shady Spring.

Lisa was the youngest of four siblings, whom she leaves behind, Candy Hess (Doug) of Salem, NC, Linda Williams (Ray) of Daniels, WV, and Jodie Young of Shady Spring.  Among many nieces and nephews, she held at special bond with her niece Jenna Young (Steven) of Shady Spring, who helped  care for her in her final years. She leaves behind many beloved friends as well.

Lisa was everyone's  "Mom".  She had a true heart of gold.  She would have taken in anyone and would have done anything for anyone. She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything, and was selfless in raising them.  She has spent her last several years  being with her granddaughters every chance she got. Being a "Mamaw" was what she lived for; anyone that knew Lisa would tell you she was nothing short of an angel. She will be so greatly missed.

A visitation will be held to Celebrate the Life of Lisa Lane on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 5 PM until 7 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801 in memory of Lisa Ann Lane.
