Lola Marie Entsminger

Lola Marie Entsminger age 93, of Blue Jay, WV, gained her eternal wings at Hidden Valley Nursing Home in Oak Hill, WV, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Born on May 28, 1932 in Blue Jay, she was the daughter of the late Archie C. Browning and Wavey J. Browning.

Marie was proceeded in death by two brothers, James A. Browning and Mitchell Dean Browning; a sister, Clara Lee Browning; a brother-in-law, Robert J. Hensdill; a niece, Tammy Hensdill and by stepmother, Lola D. Browning.

Marie attended Blue Jay Fellowship Church in Blue Jay, WV.

She is survived by her son, Brian P. Okes and his wife, Trisha Lynn Okes; one sister, Norma Hensdill; a brother, Roger Browning and wife, Rita; sisters -in-law, Gloria Browning and Sandra Browning; nephews, Jeffrey Hensdill, Mitchell Browning, and James A. Browning, II; four nieces,  Monica Roman, Crystal Brown, Verna "Sissy" Duckworth, and Susan Newsom; eight grandchildren, Adam Okes, Brittney Biere, Brianne Okes, Tiffany Farley, Cody Leigh Okes, Hunter, Myles, and Mallee "Moo" Coffman, and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Altizer officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cody Leigh Okes, Hunter Coffman, Myles Coffman, Jeffrey Hensdill, Mathew Farley, and James "JD" Meador.
