Louise Marie Fernandez

Louise Marie Arthur Fernandez, 92 of Delbarton, WV formerly of Beckley, WV, passed away May 3, 2025 while a patient at Tug Valley ARH.

She was born June 15, 1932 to the late Flavey Arthur and Edna Arthur Wallen.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, one great grandson and her oldest son Naaman L. "Bill" Williams II, whose cremated remains will be laid to rest with his mother.

Louise was a devoted member of Cranberry Baptist Church in Beckley, of which, she was a member for over 25 years. She attended church faithfully until her move to Delbarton, but that never stopped her from watching the live broadcasts. She loved her church family as much as her own family.

She is survived by her son, Henry Douglas Williams and his wife, Mary, of Delbarton, WV, with who she made her home with for the last 8 years. Two daughters Edna and husband John Lilly of Beaver, WV and Charlotte and husband Jimmy Clark of Beckley.  She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Many church friends, including Mrs. Vanessa Giles who she spoke with almost every Wednesday morning and Mrs. Greta Lambert, who called often to see how she was doing.  Lastly, her best friend and protector, a golden retriever, Jörg.

Graveside Rites and Burial will be held at the Grandview Cemetery at Grandview, WV on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Roger Pauley officiating. There will be no visitation.

She will be missed by all that knew her.
