Louise Carole Pegram Williams, 82, of Princewick, WV passed away on Thursday evening, February 6th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer.
Born August 23, 1942, in Beelick Knob, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lonzo Fitzwater and Betty Goddard Fitzwater.
Louise was the widow of the late Charles Pegram cherishing 48 years of loving marriage, and after, the late Danny Williams. Louise was a selfless caregiver, having brought her grandparents, father in law, and mom into her and Charles' home at different times when they could no longer care for themselves.
She will be remembered as a compassionate mom to her dogs, Banjo and Mandoline, her cats, Mo, Jo, Scooter and Big Orange, her love for painting, her wonderful cooking skills, and her passion for gardening and landscaping, mowing her yard was her favorite pastime. She was a hard worker, earning a degree in Beauty Culture from the New Fashion School of Beauty Culture in Chicago, Illinois She worked at Reliable Electric Manufacturing in Chicago before moving back to West Virginia. She began working at Bell Atlantic, ultimately retiring from Verizon in 2002. Although retired, her ruthless drive to conquer her goals never ceased when she was dealt pain, injury, diversity, and even in her final stages of cancer. She could be found carrying bags of mulch to her flower beds or on her mower, keeping the lawn manicured to her high standards, from dawn to dusk.
Louise is survived by her brothers, Steve and wife Johnah Fitzwater, Lonnie and wife, Anita Fitzwater, and Randy and wife, Darbra Fitzwater; daughters, Amanda and husband, late Bishop Jerryd Clyburn, Deborah and husband, Tom Hull, and Misty and husband, Brian Black; grandchildren, Chantelle and husband, Jason Harrah, Jessica and husband, Larry Hunt II, Phillip and wife, Olivia Lilly, Emily and husband, Timmy Culicerto, Matthew and wife, Ashley McClaugherty, Andrew Martin, Kendall Martin, Brett and wife, Tiffany Hull, and Hannah Hull, along with her many great-grandchildren and their families.
Per her request, no open services will be provided.
