Macie Arnes Brammer, age 72, of Odd WV went to be home with the Lord and the love of her life on March 1, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born January 15, 1952 in Lillybrook WV, to the late Ira Bowden and Rebecca Wilburn Bowden, Macie worked for the USPS for 30 years before retiring in December of 2023. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed worshiping her Lord and Savior. Macie enjoyed studying her Bible and spending time with her family especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by the love of her life Roger Brammer, an infant daughter Tina Maria Brammer, two sisters Yulaine Cook and Yvonne Hornsby, a brother Stuart "Buddy" Bowden and two brothers in law Jimmy Cook and Larry Brammer

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter Consuelo Coulter husband Rev. Roy Keith Coulter Jr., a granddaughter Brittany Coulter all of Odd, two sisters Jeanette (Philly) Reyes of Chicago, Rebecca (Roger) Vandall of Cool Ridge, and a brother Ira "Sonny" Bowden of Columbus, and two brothers in law Kenneth Hornsby of Barnesville and Rick (Glenda) Brammer of Berea. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to thank the Ansted Center and Bowers Hospice House for their hospitality.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11 AM with Pastor Shane Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 6PM to 9PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Scott Withrow, Sam Davis, Noah Norman, Raymond Williams, Brandon Lilly, Bryan Coulter, and honorary pallbearer Roy Lilly.
