Marcus Isaiah Duvall

Marcus Isaiah Duvall, age 26, of Coal City, WV passed away on June 10, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, WV.

Born on December 1, 1998 in Annapolis, Maryland, he was the son of Marvin Duvall and Rachel Russell of Coal City, WV.

Marcus, as he was known by his family and friends, was a graduate of Independence High School Class of 2017. He was an employee of Davita Dialysis in Beckley, WV. Marcus enjoyed playing basketball, and participated in football and wrestling at Independence High School. He also loved working out, by lifting weights.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Russell, an aunt Sylvia Russell, and paternal grandmother Carolyn Duvall.

Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his parents, Marvin and Rachel of Coal City; a brother Trey Duvall of Glen Daniel; four sisters, Hailey Duval, Dezi Miller, Kyra Miller and Brooklyn Duvall, all of Coal City; paternal grandfather Marty Duvall of Baltimore, MD; An uncle Tommy Duvall of Baltimore, MD; two aunts Angela Duvall of Arizona, and Pamela Duvall of California.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Keith Manning officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Friends will serve as pallbearers. A private burial will follow at the Jonben Cemetery, at Jonben, WV.
