Margaret June Cooper

Margaret June Cooper, age 75, of Beckley, WV passed away at the Rainelle Care Center on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Born on January 3,1950 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Rhodes and Bertha Mae Saddler Rhodes.

Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed making rugs, and word search puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Cooper Sr; by siblings, Janet , Minnie Pearl, Lillian, Gary, Bob, and Jim Rhodes.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Charles L. Cooper Jr. and wife Cindy of Rainelle; a granddaughter Katie Cooper of Beckley; sisters, Betty Williams of Beckley, Lura Adkins of Beckley, and Helen Richards of Pennsylvania; a brother Ralph Rhodes of Beckley. Many nieces and nephews, and a very close friend Carl Gables also survive.

According to her personal wishes, Mrs. Cooper will be cremated. A memorial service to Celebrate the Life of Margaret J. Cooper will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, 9324 Sewell Creek Road, Meadow Bridge, WV at 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025 with Pastor Aaron Trigg officiating.
