Margie Carol Evans

Margie Carol Bragg Evans, age 83, of Beckley, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Born on May 21,1941, at Sandstone, WV. She was the daughter of the late Robert Bragg and Gerlean Bennett Bragg Gadd.

Margie was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church and enjoyed attending church with her church family.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Evans; by a son, Robin "Peewee" Bragg; by a brother, Robert Bragg; by a sister, Roxie Lawson.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include a son, Warren Bragg; a brother, Rev. Davy Bennett and wife Elzena of Beallsville, OH; and a sister, Helen Stauffacher of Beckley, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, WV, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Wittman officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Saturday, at the funeral home.
