Mark Vance, 57, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away on June 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on August 13, 1967, Mark was a hardworking man who spent many years in the construction and coal mining industries. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Outside of work, Mark found his greatest joy outdoors—especially on the water with a fishing rod in hand. He was also a devoted fan of the Washington Redskins and loved to cheer them on.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Tina; daughter Kendra Vance of Virginia Beach, VA; son Tristan Vance of Beckley, WV; and his beloved granddaughter, Zailey Vance of Daniels, WV.

He is also survived by his parents, Andy and Sandy Cole of Lester, WV; his siblings Lesa Bottenfield of Fort Mill, SC, Michael Vance of Lester, WV, and Amy Stump (Scott Stump) of Rock Creek, WV; sister-in-law Michelle Dalton of Beckley, WV; brother-in-law Kenny Craddock of Oak Hill, WV; and father-in-law Kenneth Craddock of Oak Hill, WV.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Rose Craddock, whom he always considered a second mother.

Mark will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His legacy of strength, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.

In accordance with his wishes, Mark will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later time.
